Tailoring allows you to craft clothes, leather and bone armor. On Angel Island you can also craft magic equipment with Tailoring, provided that you are also familiar with Magery.
Exceptional clothes crafted by a tailor are newbied, although they can still become Tattered Clothing. Tailoring combined with Alchemy allows you to make Special Dye Tubs. Tailoring combined with Inscription allows you to embroider clothes if you have read the embroidery book.
