The mining skill allows you to mine ore and granite for crafting.
To use mining, double click a shovel or pickaxe and target a mountain or cave.
Stonecrafting supplies can be purchased from the stonecrafter NPC inside the Saw Horse, the carpenter shop in Britain.
As you mine, you will start ending up with higher quality ores, such as copper or valorite. These ores have different qualities, such as density or weight. Less dense materials may be ineligible to receive higher tier durability bonuses via the Magic Equipment Crafting system, and lighter materials will cause less dexterity loss when wearing heavier pieces of equipment. The higher the tier of overall quality also determines which tier of magical attributes it will be able to achieve when being consecrated.
