Animal Lore is used to check the statistics of monsters and pets, and to increase the chance of your pets listening to your commands. Until 80.0 Animal Lore, you can only check the stats of your own pets.
At 80.0 Animal Lore and 80.0 Veterinary, you have a chance to resurrect a dead bonded pet.
Having skill in Animal Lore and Veterinary will increase the number of pets you can keep in the stables at a time.
Training Animal Lore
The easiest way to train Animal Lore is to use it repeatedly on any tamed pet you have until GM.
Animal Lore level has no impact at all on training Animal Taming, so you may macro Animal Lore beforehand in order to make fresh tames listen to your release command more easily.
