Camping allows you to log out anywhere you are as if you were inside an inn or your own house. You need kindling and a bedroll in order to accomplish this.
Kindling can be crafted through the carpentry/bowcraft menu. It can also be obtained by double clicking a bladed object and targeting a tree, or purchased from a provisioner NPC.
Just use the kindling and after a few seconds you will get a message saying your camp is secured and you are ready to log out.
Bedrolls are purchasable at Inn or Provisioner shops. This is only to use the skill to insta-log, not to gain skill.
Training Camping
To train your skill in camping, simply use kindling to create campfires repeatedly until GM.
