Camping allows you to log out anywhere you are as if you were inside an inn or your own house. You need kindling and a bedroll in order to accomplish this.

Kindling can be crafted through the carpentry/bowcraft menu. It can also be obtained by double clicking a bladed object and targeting a tree, or purchased from a provisioner NPC.

Just use the kindling and after a few seconds you will get a message saying your camp is secured and you are ready to log out.

Bedrolls are purchasable at Inn or Provisioner shops. This is only to use the skill to insta-log, not to gain skill.

Training Camping

To train your skill in camping, simply use kindling to create campfires repeatedly until GM.
