Skill in Archery determines your ability to bit targets with projectiles fired from a bow.
Archery combined with poisoned rags can allow you to shoot poisoned arrows. Your chance to apply the level of Poison on the rag to the target is equal to your Poisoning skill. Failing the check to apply the poison on the rag will give you one level lower of poisoning.
Note* You will always apply PoisonLevel - 1 to arrows with 0.0 poisoning.
