Joining the thieves guild is what allows a player to steal from innocent players.

Requirements to Join

In order to join, you must have achieved the following:

  • Obtain 500 gold pieces
  • Character must be 48 (Earth) hours old
  • Gain to 60.0 stealing skill.

How to Join

To join, you must first locate the Thieves Guildmaster located in Buccaneers Den.

Say:

  (the NPC's name) join 

to join and

  (the NPC's name) quit 

to quit the guild.

Note that you must wait 7 (Earth) days to quit the Thieves Guild after joining.

After saying join, the guildmaster will ask for the 500 gold. Quickly drop the pile of gold directly onto the NPC.

Forensic Evaluation

Players who are skilled in Forensic Evaluation may be able to tell if you are affiliated with the Thieves Guild.

Murder

On Angel Island, you are not allowed to murder other players while a member of the thieves guild. You will be kicked out of the guild immediately.
