Begging works the same on Angel Island as it does on Siege Perilous. It allows you to gain gold from NPCs on a successful skill check, provided that NPC has a backpack with gold in it. The amount depends on your skill level.
Training Begging
To train Begging, use the skill on any NPC. You must have positive karma in order to gain this skill.
