Resisting Spells/Magic Resist determines your chance of resisting poison cast on you by players and creatures and reduces the damage taken from magic spells.
Training Resist
- 0-30 Buy from NPC
- 30-45 Fireball
- 45-65 Lightning
- 65-80 Energy Bolt
- 80-GM Flamestrike
It's recommended to start any character with 50 Magic Resist if you plan on GM'ing it, as it can be quite pricey and time consuming to raise compared to other PvP skills. It should take just a little bit over 20k to raise Resist from 50-GM.
