			Not all mounts are created equal. More powerful mounts generally possess greater endurance and can maintain a hard pace for longer periods before becoming fatigued.

			As a rough guide:

			* Horses provide baseline endurance.
			* Llamas and Ostards generally offer improved endurance.
			* Frenzied Ostards are among the more enduring common mounts.
			* Nightmares and Destriers represent the upper end of mounted endurance.

			Individual creatures may vary. A particularly exceptional Nightmare may rival or even surpass a lesser Destrier.

			== Mount Stamina ==

			Mounts gradually tire while running.

			As your mount becomes fatigued, you will receive warning messages. An exhausted mount will eventually refuse to move until it has recovered stamina.

			Because of this, mount selection, feeding, and proper animal handling can all play an important role during long journeys, dangerous expeditions, and extended pursuits.

			== Feeding ==

			Mounts recover stamina when fed food they prefer.

			Once a creature accepts a particular food, the amount fed is generally more important than the specific type of food. Carrying extra food can greatly extend the useful endurance of a mount while traveling far from civilization.

			== Commands ==

			A loyal mount responds better to its master.

			Successfully directing and managing a mount can help it recover from fatigue. Riders who pay attention to their animals and keep them content will find them more dependable companions on the road.

			The most useful command for recovering a tired mount is:

			* All Follow Me

			As always, loyalty matters. Well-cared-for animals perform better than neglected ones.

			* Apples and pumpkins are equally effective for restoring mount stamina.
			* Apples weigh considerably less than pumpkins, making them a popular choice for travelers.
			* Carrying food can greatly extend the range of your mount.

			* Better mounts generally possess greater endurance, but even the finest mount will eventually tire.
