The
In the years past Looters, Inc. was forced to leave the lands of Sosaria. It was somewhere around the time that many gained
the ability to customize their houses and even more new lands were found. Also, changes were made to the rights of
the looter that we found unacceptable and therefore each of us turned our backs
on Britannia and made our way back to real life.
However, recently a great warrior among us has chosen to carve out
his own shard in the true image of that first crystal, shattered so long ago.
Adam Ant and his team forged a place that Looters, Inc can feel comfortable,
and maybe even welcome in their efforts to rescue the items of our comrades
slain in battle. So begins the
The first adventure starts with our newest friend Meares and a trip to the third level of Covetous. Meares specializes in moving through dungeons unnoticed,
except for the trail of empty chests he leaves behind. The following tale will
be told from his perspective.

Ah, level 3 of Covetous! An outstanding
place to find loot of all sorts!

Upon entering the dungeon I found a dead red named Bey’lik and a fellow named Narsil
of the [PAG] guild running about. I failed to notice Narsils
death robed state and payed little attention to his
antics. However, I didn’t pass up the opportunity to loot almost 100 of each
reagent and a whole pile of blank runes off the red. I thank thee! I wrongly
assumed that nothing eventful was happening so I continued my journey to the
throne room…

More death!
Things are looking up! Perhaps I will be getting more loot than I bargained
for…

Stealthing into the room, I quickly noticed an
additional body. The grey
Narsil with his more corporeal self attempting in
vain to recover his loot. This looks like a job for Looters, Inc!!!
Upon seeing the Lich Lord Narsil quickly
cast invisibility and was hidden from view.

As I was making my way to the body of Narsil
yet another grey member of [PAG] ran in, and hid from the lich in the corner.
Obviously this criminal is trying to steal the loot from his fallen guildmate! I cannot let this happen!!! Fortunately I am
skilled in the methods of detecting hidden so he did not stay invisible for
long.

Apparently I was incorrect in my assumption that Taltos
was trying to steal the loot from Narsil. After I
revealed him he decided to do the same to me with magic and then attempted to
attack several times! Without warning or provocation Taltos
jumped into the fray and cast a poison field near me. Neither of these
individuals bothered to say a single word before the attack!!! Very
disappointing!

Obviously Narsil made a mistake in revealing himself to the Lich.
They do not like people disturbing their domain with the likes of a field of
poison!

Although I
missed the picture Taltos also fell to the lich.
Their loot shall
be mine this day!

Although
obviously beaten by an individual of superior skill and intellect Taltos refused to stay down. He quickly ressed
and returned to make another attempt.
I must admire
him for his courage and thank him for his loot.

Ah, they’ve
returned en-mass and are covering the area in poison fields!
Leave me be and
let me loot Narsil ye heathens!

Apparently these
individuals are confused by stealth and have forgetton
how to cast reveal in the last few minutes.
‘Tis my lucky day!

They also cannot
fathom that the lich do not like intruders!
Run and hide ye dogs! Run and hide!

Ha! Bey’lik again fails to run fast enough. More loot for my
coffers!

Upon their
return Narsil and Taltos
make a valiant effort to recover their loot.
*detect*
Oops, was that
me?

Taltos
quickly fell to the rage of the disturbed lich.
The bodies are starting
to pile high in here!

Considering the
anger of the lich I decided to stealth over and loot Bey’lik.
Surprisingly his guildmates hadn’t even attempted to
rescue his things. Again nearly 100 of each reagent found it’s
way to my pack.

As I stealthed back to the body of Narsil
he made his return.
Drat! I haven’t
had time to loot you! Go away!

Narsil found
a new trick! Fortunately I was able to stealth out of the way before any harm
was done.
Unfortunately
for Narsil his racket again caught the attention of
the Lich…

This time I
decided to leave Narsil to distract the Lich and make
my way over to the body of Taltos.

What’s this? A
blood drenched bandana?
‘Tis a surprise to find one of these considering the lack of
respect these three have shown for the domain of the lich!
The remainder is
really more of the same. Reveal, hide, reveal, death, *laugh*…. etc…. until I
made a mistake…

Boo!
In an attempt to
flee my imminent death I found the Shadow Wyrm. Not
enjoyable at all.
I thought for
sure I was going to be looted clean by the members of [PAG]…

Haha Fools!
At least one believes that I live!
Cast away my friend, cast away.

Thank you for
protecting me and “their” loot oh great Shadow Wyrm!
Total loot: A few hundred of each reagent, a bit of
gold, some blank scrolls, lots of blank runes, a large number of pots, and a
bit of the pride of [PAG].

Lesson: When in need, a friendly
word can go much further than a poison field or an explosion pot. Attacking
isn’t always your first option, no matter how the odds are stacked in your
favor.
3 PAG vs. 1 LI.
LI. = 1 PAG = 0
I’m sure we will
meet again.
